In this private residence with a bold and contemporary character, material becomes language through timeless steel boiserie that define the space with quiet strength.
The project, designed by Officina ArteCasa and brought to life by Siderio, explores metal as a decorative element – one that shapes identity and atmosphere. At the heart of the interior is the steel boiserie: a modular wall paneling system made from boxed sheet metal and supported by a tubular substructure. Designed to clad the main wall with clean yet powerful lines, it offers both architectural rhythm and aesthetic depth.

The poetry of craftmanship
The dark rust finish selected for this project enhances the raw beauty of steel, adding a warm, sophisticated tone that elevates the overall material palette. Each panel is crafted with artisanal precision using laser cutting, bending, and laser welding, resulting in a seamless surface defined by clarity and balance. Installation on the internal steel framework ensures structural integrity and visual alignment, transforming the wall into a design statement that complements the space without overpowering it.
Authentic materials for a timeless aesthetic
To complete the intervention, a custom-made drop-front cabinet – perfectly matched in finish and proportions – reinforces the coherence of the design language. Function and form meet in perfect harmony, with every detail contributing to the overall sense of balance.
Steel as a narrative element
This project is a clear example of how Siderio’s steel boiserie system, through craftsmanship, technology, and refined design, can become a defining feature in elegant, modern interiors.
